Free Session: Revisiting ESDM Objectives

1 hrFree

A one-hour Zoom workshop for early childhood professionals who want to strengthen their ability to write clear, developmentally grounded ESDM objectives. Previous experience or certification in the ESDM is not necessary to take this workshop. Class size is limited to maximize the online learning experience. You will receive an email confirmation with the Zoom meeting link following your registration and any learning materials to the registered email address for those who attend.

Infant Start Workshop

3 hrs$525

A five-session Zoom workshop for early childhood professionals coaching families through eight infant characteristics based on the ESDM that may be limiting social interaction and social learning. Participants must have taken the Introductory ESDM Parent Coaching Workshop and work with families of 20-month-old or younger infants with social-communication vulnerabilities or concerns, strategies aim to build development around each infant target. An autism diagnosis is not required. Professionals will be expected to practice topics directly with families and share non-identifying information about their coaching experiences for expert guidance on applying these topics.

Vismara, Ph.D., BCBA-D, is an expert in early autism research and intervention, collaborating with families, universities, and organizations to implement the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM) in communities. She co-authored "An Early Start for Your Child with Autism: Using Everyday Activities to Help Kids Connect, Communicate, and Learn," which provides practical strategies for families to apply ESDM at home. Her second book, "Coaching Parents of Young Children with Autism," guides early childhood professionals in coaching and empowering families using the ESDM.
